Becoming a Member of the
ABREA Health Information Network
To become a member of the
ABREA Health Information Network, follow the instructions below depending on your choice of payment.
ABREA requires the use of a credit card for the monthly membership or a refundable security deposit in the amount of $300.00. The security deposit will be returned to you once you terminate your agreement. If you have an outstanding balance at the time you terminate your agreement, it will be subtracted from your security deposit and the balance will be returned to you.
Paying by credit card
1. Complete the
ABREA EDI Agreement.
2. Complete the Credit
Card Authorization agreement.
3. Fax and then mail both agreements.
Paying by bank

Bank Drafting Authorization agreement.
3. Fax and then mail both
agreements along with a voided check..
Paying by monthly Invoice
1. Complete theABREA
EDI Agreement.
2. Mail the agreement along with a check for $300.00, plus your setup fee of $99.00 or $249.00.
Submitting Paper Claims to
ABREA
If you are planning to send your paper claims to ABREA you must pay for your claims transmission by credit card. A report will be generated indicating the claims that were sent but no further reports or tracking will be done on these claims. All inquires must be directed to the carriers when concerning Paper claims. To sign up for paper claims transmission follow the instructions below.
1. Complete the Credit Card Authorization Agreement.
2. Complete the Paper Authorization Agreement.
3. Fax and then mail agreement both agreements to
ABREA.
Being A Member
Once you are member of the ABREA Information Network and all your paper work is completed and received , you will receive a package containing a communication software, a provider enrollment agreement, a web site information form and general information on the usage of technical support. If you are submitting Medicare, Medicaid or Blue Shield in your state you may also receive a submitter agreement for each carrier you are planning to submit claims to,. you must request these forms when joining. If you are interested in our free web site complete the web site information sheet. This information will be used to design your web site. The communication software enclosed is used by most of the providers that are part of
ABREA, most providers find it very easy and user friendly, but you are more than welcome to use any asynchronous communications software that you feel comfortable with. The provider enrollment form must be completed and faxed back to us in order to properly set you up in the computer, we do not need the original so mailing it is not necessary.
